Contact lists allow you to organize and segment contacts efficiently, making it easier to send targeted messages and personalized campaigns. Below, learn how to create, manage, and use lists in Zenvia Customer Cloud.
⚠️ Attention:

  • A contact can belong to multiple lists simultaneously, with no quantity limit. This means you can include the same contact in different lists for specific campaigns or segments, without worrying about restrictions.
  • This feature is available only to users with the Viewer, Operator, or Admin profiles.

Creating a new contact list

  1. Go to Contacts > Contact List and click Create new list.
  2. A window will open for you to enter the name of your list.
  3. After entering the name, click Create list.
  4. Done! Your list has been created successfully.

When you create a new list, it will initially be empty, i.e., without any contacts. To add contacts to the list, click the list name and you will see the following options:

List Management: How to rename or delete a list

To rename:

  1. Click the options icon  next to the desired list.
  2. Select the option Rename list.
  3. Enter the new name in the text field.
  4. Click Save list.

To delete:

  1. Click the options icon  next to the list you wish to delete.
  2. Select the option Delete list.
  3. Confirm the deletion by clicking Delete permanently.

⚠️ Attention: When deleting a list, you are only removing the contacts from the list, not deleting them permanently from the database. They can still be found and used in other lists, but you will need to locate them manually.

To permanently delete a contact from all lists, you need to remove it from your contact database.

Accessing list content

To view the contacts that belong to a list, simply click the list name. You will be redirected to the page with the contacts of that list.

💡 Tip: To search for a contact list, type the desired name in the search bar. This search will specifically look through lists, so if you need to find a specific contact, use the contact manager instead.

Practical applications of lists

  • Targeted campaigns: Send personalized messages to different interest groups.
  • Segmented communication: Group contacts by location, behavior, or any other relevant criteria.
  • Performance analysis: Evaluate the performance of your campaigns based on the lists used.
