Creating a new chatbot

To access the chatbot creation screen, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Chatbot module > Chatbot list > Create new chatbot.

  2. Under Generative AI Chatbot, click Select.

  3. Choose how you want to create your chatbot: manually or using the configurator.


 Creating a chatbot manually

If you prefer to configure your chatbot manually, follow these steps:

  1. Give your chatbot a name: Choose a simple name that clearly identifies your chatbot.

  2. Provide basic guidelines and define its purpose: Enter an instruction prompt to guide the chatbot’s interactions.

  3. Use predefined prompt examples (optional):

    • Sales Chatbot

    • Support Chatbot

    • FAQ Chatbot

When you click on a model, the prompt will appear along with the Copy example  button. Copy and paste it into the description field and edit the text as needed.

Tip: If you want to prevent your chatbot from making comparisons with other companies in the same industry, select the Do not compare with other companies option above the Create chatbot button. This ensures that the chatbot only uses the content described in the guidelines field.

Once you've completed the required fields, click Create new chatbot.

Customizing your new chatbot

Customize your chatbot's features and create clear instructions to ensure it operates effectively and aligns with your company's identity. By configuring personality, behavior, and skills, the virtual assistant will provide more suitable responses to users.

You can customize your chatbot by:


 Creating a chatbot using the IAG Configurator

The IAG Configurator simplifies chatbot creation, allowing you to configure it quickly and intuitively.

After selecting Use the IAG Configurator, you will be directed to an interactive screen where the AI will ask relevant questions to set up the personality tab of your chatbot.

The configurator will request essential details, such as:

  1. Chatbot name

  2. Purpose and basic guidelines (instruction prompt)

  3. Expected behavior

  4. Additional rules

The AI will organize the responses and automatically generate a fully configured IAG chatbot. The chatbot will be created as unpublished, so you can review and make adjustments before making it available.

Tip:  A new contact will be automatically created in your Contacts Base whenever someone interacts with the Chatbot and is not transferred to a human agent. The fields for name, phone number, email, and origin are filled in automatically, making it easier for you to re-engage these people in the future. You can view these records by going to Contacts > Contacts Base.
