This feature connects SenseData to Zenvia Customer Cloud (Zenvia Customer Cloud) to automatically synchronize your contacts and information every day. You choose which contacts to send and which information to transfer from one system to the other. Use this feature to ensure that your campaigns and messaging flows in Zenvia Customer Cloud use up-to-date data from SenseData, without manual work.
How it works:
You create the connection in 5 steps and confirm the settings on the Summary screen.
Every night, starting at 12:00 AM, the system sends valid contacts to Zenvia Customer Cloud (scheduled window: 12:00 AM to 5:00 AM).
In the connections list, you can track how many contacts were sent and how many were not. You can also download the error list from the Results tab.
💡Tip: Data is not sent in real time. When you create a connection, the first transfer takes place during the next overnight window. Changes made in SenseData are also sent to Zenvia Customer Cloud during that window.
2. Before you begin
This feature is available to SenseData and Administrator profiles. If you cannot see the menu, contact your account administrator. The Zenvia Customer Cloud Connection menu only appears when the corresponding general parameter is enabled.
To enable it:
In SenseData, go to Settings.
Click General Parameters.
Click the Feature Flag tab.
Find Zenvia Customer Cloud Connection and enable it.
Once enabled, you will have access to the connector option. After enabling the feature flag, make sure you have the following information:
The API access token for your Zenvia account. You can find it in your Zenvia account settings (the creation screen includes a link to that page).
The criteria defining which customers and contacts you want to send (for example, customers with the status "Active").
The list of SenseData information fields you want to transfer to Zenvia Customer Cloud.
The status of your custom fields in Zenvia Customer Cloud. If your account already uses many fields (more than 97), token authentication may be rejected (see Section 6).
⚠️ Attention: Keep your token in a secure location. You will need it again when creating a new connection from an existing one.
3. Where to find it
Settings > Zenvia Customer Cloud Connection
The Zenvia Customer Cloud Connection screen lists all your connections. If you have not configured any connections yet, the screen displays the message No connections configured and the New connection button.
4. Step-by-step instructions
4.1. How to view your connections
Go to Settings > Zenvia Customer Cloud Connection.
In the table, review each connection, the status of the latest transfer, and the contact counts (total, sent, and not sent).
Use the pagination controls at the bottom to view more connections. In the Display field, choose how many connections to show per page (10, 20, or 30).
4.2. How to create a connection
Creating a connection involves 5 steps, displayed at the top of the screen: Authentication, Target Audience, Basic Fields, Custom Fields, and Summary. Completed steps are marked with a ✔.
Step 1: Authentication
Go to Settings > Zenvia Customer Cloud Connection.
Click New connection.
Enter the Connection name.
The Type field is preset to XAPIToken and cannot be changed.
Enter the Token.
Click Validate and wait for the Valid token message.
Click Continue.
💡Tip: Hover over the help icon (?) next to Token. It explains where to find the information and provides the Access settings → link, which takes you to your Zenvia account settings.
The Continue button is only enabled after the token has been validated.
The system validates the token and checks how many custom fields your Zenvia Customer Cloud account already uses. If the account has too many fields for the connection to fit within the available limit, validation will be rejected (see Section 7).
Step 2: Target Audience
Enter the Transfer name (required, up to 120 characters). This identifies the connection in the Defined audience column of the list.
Under Group A, define the first rule by selecting Category, Field, Operator, and Value. Example: Customer > Status > is equal to > Active.
To add another condition to the same group, click Add rule. Within a group, a contact must meet all rules.
To create another set of conditions, click Add group.
If there is more than one group, choose AND or OR to determine how the groups are combined.
Click Search contacts. The system validates the contacts and displays:
The green Ready to send banner, showing the number of contacts and customers that will be sent.
The yellow Transfer error banner, showing the number of contacts and customers that cannot be sent.
(Optional) Click View → in either banner to review the identified customers (see Section 5.3).
Click Continue.
💡Tip: If you change the rules after searching, the banners become disabled and the Conditions changed warning appears. Search for the contacts again by clicking Search contacts.
Step 3: Basic Fields
In the table, review the Zenvia Customer Cloud fields, their categories, and the SenseData fields from which each piece of information will be retrieved.
Required fields are selected by default and cannot be deselected.
For each optional field you want to send, select the Category and, in the SenseData column, choose the source field. The checkbox is selected when the mapping is complete.
(Optional) Click Deselect all fields to clear the selected optional fields.
Click Continue.
Step 4: Custom Fields
Select the additional fields you want to transfer to Zenvia Customer Cloud.
For each field, select the Category and, in the SenseData column, choose the source field. The checkbox is selected when the mapping is complete.
Track the Selected fields counter (for example, 45 of 97).
Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the table to view all fields. Use Search to locate a specific field.
Click Continue.
Step 5: Summary
Review the Access Credentials, Target Audience, Basic Fields, and Custom Fields sections.
To make changes, click Back until you reach the desired step.
When everything is correct, click Connect.
Wait for the Connection saved successfully message. The system returns to the connections list.
The connection is saved and appears in the list with the status Active and the transfer status Pending. The first transfer takes place during the next overnight window. After that, the transfer status changes to Completed. The connection may take a few moments to appear in the list.
💡Tip: The transfer result appears in the Transfer column. The system does not send a completion notification.
4.3. How to create a new connection from an existing one
Use this option to reuse an existing connection's settings and change only what is necessary:
In the connections list, click the ⋮ icon in the Actions column for the desired connection.
Click Create new from this template.
The new connection opens with fields prefilled, and its name ends with "copy".
In the Authentication step, enter the token again and validate it.
Make any necessary adjustments in the remaining steps, then click Connect on the Summary screen.
Once the new connection is working, remove the old connection (Section 4.6).
⚠️ Attention: The token is not copied to the new connection. You must enter it again.
About changes: Saved connections cannot be edited in this version. To change a connection, use Create new from this template and then remove the old connection.
4.4. How to view connection details
In the connections list, click the row for the desired connection.
In the Information tab, review the type, status, partially masked token, target audience, and number of selected fields.
To view the field mapping, click 06/06 View list → (basic fields) or 45/97 View list → (custom fields). The Fields panel opens.
To close the panel, click X.
4.5. How to track results and download the error list
In the connections list, review the Total contacts, Contacts sent, and Contacts not sent columns.
To view details, click the connection and open the Results tab.
Review Total synchronized, Successful, and With errors, including the percentages.
To see which contacts encountered problems, click Download list in the With errors panel.
Wait while the system generates a secure link. The CSV file opens in a new browser tab.
⚠️ Attention: The error list can only be downloaded from the Results tab. This option is not available in the main table.
💡Tip: The numbers in the Results tab cover the entire period since the connection was created.
The error list provides the reason each contact was not sent. The download link is valid for 5 minutes. If it expires, click Download list again. Column headers follow the language used by the person who created the connection (Portuguese, English, or Spanish). If you correct a contact that had an error in SenseData, it will be removed from the error list during the next execution.
4.6. How to deactivate, reactivate, or remove a connection
In the connections list, click the ⋮ icon in the Actions column for the connection.
Select Deactivate (or Activate if the connection is inactive) or Remove.
Confirm the action in the dialog that appears. Activating a connection does not require confirmation.
