Zenvia Conversion allows the apps you connect with to act as users. In both API integration and Zapier cases, you may need the app you're connecting with to act as one of your users.
This functionality ensures that interaction records are made on behalf of this user. The distribution rules applied are those related to the group, only changing if overridden in the advanced integration settings.
Steps to enable the function
To enable this functionality, go to Integrations > select the app you want to configure.
Go to the Act as selector to choose the user with whom you want your app to act.
Select the user > click Assign, and then Save to save all the information.
Make sure your app appears as connected and ready!
⚠️ Attention: Many apps connected via Zapier require you to follow these steps to function. Remember to check this option to avoid integration failures. We recommend assigning the Act as user function of an app to the bot, if this option is available.
Remember that the Act as user function does not absorb:
- The permissions and scope of the user to whom it has been assigned: the App will act according to the rules of the group in which it has been installed.
- The user's distribution rule: the App will respect the configured distribution rule regardless of the user to whom the role has been assigned.
