Automatic Closure is a feature in the Support Service chat settings that automatically closes a conversation.
You can create rules to enable automatic closure of chats in cases of client inactivity, after resolving the issue, or when all agents are outside their working hours, for example.
⚠️ Attention: This feature is only available for Operator and Admin profiles. Available channels: WhatsApp, Webchat, Facebook, Telegram, and Mercado Livre Messages.
How to Enable Automatic Closure
1. Go to Support Service > Settings > Chat Settings > Automatic Closure > Manage;
2. Enable Automatically Close Chats;
3. Set a maximum client inactivity time (in seconds) for automatic chat closure;
4. Choose to enable or disable the closure message text;
Example: "Hi! We noticed you have been inactive for some time. Therefore, we will close this chat. If you need further assistance, please contact us again."
5. Enable automatic closure for all groups or select specific groups;
⚠️ Attention: Selecting automatic closure for all groups will affect all Departments.
6. Click Save.
Done! Automatic closure successfully enabled.
💡 Tip: To disable this feature, click the Automatically Close Chats button again.
