RCS (Rich Communication Services) is a messaging standard that allows sending text messages, audio, videos, and photos. It's also possible to build interactive dialogues with your customers. All of this is done using Messages, the same Android system app that reads SMS.
With it, you can understand the volumes of messages delivered and which ones were successfully verified.
Furthermore, RCS also provides information such as read receipts and the option to identify how many and which customers clicked on buttons and responded to the RCS.
Customers with an active plan have access to various channels, including RCS. The channels are available in a single package, with their respective unit prices. For more information, check the Plans and Contracts article.

The integration of RCS plays a central role in the modules offered by Zenvia Customer Cloud and, therefore, is the first step before utilizing some of the available features.

Interactive Promotion Messages: Use RCS to send interactive promotional messages, allowing customers to view options, click buttons, and take actions directly within the message. For example, a discount campaign where customers can click buttons to choose specific offers or confirm their participation in a promotion.

Product Updates: Take advantage of RCS's capability to send product updates with rich content, such as images and videos. For instance, when launching a new product, send a message with detailed images and explanatory videos, providing an engaging visual experience for customers.

Interactive Satisfaction Surveys: Utilize RCS to create interactive satisfaction surveys. Customers can respond directly within the message, click on rating options, and provide instant feedback.

Activating the RCS channel
Activation of RCS is done through our team, which will guide you through the entire process.
When subscribing to a plan in Zenvia Customer Cloud, you will be directed to the activation team.
To confirm that the channel is already available, go to Settings > Channels in the side menu. In RCS, see if the Manage Account button is available. If so, the channel is already active, and you can manage your accounts and numbers.
If, for any reason, RCS is not active, click the Connect Account button that will be in place of Manage Account and you will be directed to talk to the team.
