05. Integrating the Instagram channel into Zenvia Customer Cloud

Instagram is a platform that enables the sending of messages, photos, and videos with effects and captions. With it, it's possible to send messages with selfie stickers, custom reactions, and message effects. Additionally, chats can be customized with colors and themes.

Clients with an active plan have access to various channels, including Instagram. The channels are available in a single package, each with its respective unit prices. For more information, check the article on Plans and Contracts.

⚠️ Attention: This functionality is only available for users with Operator or Admin profiles.

The integration of Instagram plays a central role in the modules offered by Zenvia Customer Cloud and, therefore, is the first step before using some available features.

For example, in the Chatbot module, some types of campaigns that companies can run with Instagram are:

  • Simplified Reservations: Integrate a chatbot on Instagram so that users can make reservations directly through messages, streamlining the service scheduling process.

  • Quick Support: Implement a customer service chatbot on Instagram to instantly respond to frequently asked customer questions, providing efficient support and reducing wait times.

  • Personalized Promotions: Use the chatbot to automatically send personalized offers to followers, encouraging interaction and direct sales conversion on the platform.

Activate the Instagram channel

To connect it:

  1. In the side menu, choose Settings > Channels.

  2. Under Instagram, click Connect Account.

Take advantage of optimizing your communication with Zenvia Customer Cloud: get to know the Customer Inbox in the Service module, where interactions and message exchanges between your company and a contact take place.

For example, if someone contacts you after a Message broadcast, it's in the Customer Inbox where that person will be responded to. This way, you optimize communication with your customers and enhance your conversion strategies. Additionally, you can choose and identify the communication channel used, such as Instagram.
